Can Marines put military grade accessories(red dot, scope, infrared laser, etc.) on their rifles? - military scope
I often heard at the discretion of the OC.
However, if you are infantry, there is a good chance that you get a Trijicon ACOG. They demand more and more in recent years and are very happy with them.
Replacing the ACOG w / everything else is a downgrade!
If you have an infrared laser, they will do their utmost in order for you.

Uuuummm .... I would say that every time his headquarters in the armory a huge selection - if not its totally unnecessary. I have friends, sniper rifles in the works - but must be registered.
No, this material can be delivered by the Corps. This is the official policy, but it happens all the time.
